Antique late Victorian period Lovely Quality pair of grapes scissors in Sterling Silver a traditional styled pair of grapes scissors featuring a hinged movement finished with bowed stems detailed with a duo of cartouches to the terminals flush to the finger grips on a reeded pattern.
The grape scissors appear to show no signs of use, these being an original condition more or less, nice age patination to the silver and good clear impressed markings indicating Sheffield Assay Office circa 1897 With the maker's mark for James Dixon and sons Of Cornish Place Sheffield.
The Grape scissors measure 14 cm in length or 5.5 inches with a width from finger grip to finger grip when closed shut of 6 cm or 2.36 inches.
