This November, Top Banana Antiques celebrates twenty-five years in business.
A quarter of a century is a long time in retail. During those years we've seen fashions change, markets boom and bust, and many businesses come and go. Through it all, we've kept doing what we've always believed in—buying interesting antiques, treating customers fairly and enjoying every day.
We've never tried to be the biggest. We've simply tried to be one of the best.
Twenty-five years isn't built on luck. It's built on hard work, honesty, adaptability and thousands of wonderful customers who have supported us over the years. To every one of you, thank you.
People often ask what the secret is.
There isn't one.
Buy well. Sell fairly. Keep your promises. Treat people with respect. Never stop learning. Turn up every morning with enthusiasm and a smile.
Those simple principles have served us well for twenty-five years.
We're proud of what we've achieved, but we're even more excited about what lies ahead.
