Quiet Days in the Shop? We’re Always Busy!
People sometimes assume that if the shop is quiet, we must be sitting around with our feet up waiting for the next customer.
Oh, if only!
We rarely have what you might call a quiet day, but when we do, we don't stop. We're whizzing around dusting, hoovering, cleaning and generally making sure Top Banana is looking its best.
Then there are the website orders to pack and send out.
And perhaps most importantly, we're getting more stock photographed, described and added to the website. Because an antique sitting in the shop can only be sold to the people who walk through the door — but once it's online, the whole world can see it.
So, quiet day in the shop?
No such thing, really. We’re always busy!
