We all know one of the major benefits of antique dealing is you feed ones habit for acquiring antiques, and adding to ones collection.
The downside to this really often is that the things one keeps are the highly commercial items that one should be selling, of course the very clever collector buys ahead of the trends and as with such things as enamel signs the prices have sky rocketed and even reproductions have not cooled the market.
Be careful not to starve you shop stock by always keeping the best as generally the best sells the best and for the best prices.
