Antique Late Victorian period Lovely Quality Matched pair of Sterling Silver Confiture Spoons presented in original fitted leather case complete with rouched satin lining to the interior.

Each spoon is of a traditional Confiture pattern in the Old English, each chase detailed to both bowl and stem with meadow flora, the terminal to each handle being engraved with a monogram set of initials featuring the letter 'LMS' in a scrolled font.

Each spoon is in original condition appearing to have never been used, these no doubt originally being a wedding gift of the period.

Each spoon measures 15.5 cm in length with the accompanying box when closed shut measuring 17.7 cm x 7.5 cm x 3 cm in dimension.

The spoons are clearly impressed to the reverse with good clear markings indicating Sheffield assay office circa 1899 with the makers mark for Mark Willis of Exchange Works, Sheffield.
