Antique Late Edwardian Sterling Silver Cheroot Case in the fob style complete with original Cheroot Holder in Carved Amber.
A Traditional styled piece, designed to be worn with an Albert Watch Chain (or similar) and serve for an on the spot relief for when one required to smoke, simply remove the end cap and then the cheroot holder, install ones desired cheroot and smoke.
The Cheroot holder shows mild wear from age and previous use, the Sterling Silver Cheroot case is well preserved, has a decorative floral chased body and is impressed with good clear markings to both body and lid for Birmingham assay office circa 1910 along with the makers mark for Francis Webb of Great Hampton Street, Birmingham.
The Fob with lid in place measures 5 cm in length (excluding bale).
