Antique Late Victorian period Top Quality, Very Ornate Sterling Silver Sifter Spoon in Superb Condition, the item having no dings, damages, repairs or splits, it being in original condition more or less.
The Sifter features a pierced, concave reeded bowl and a barley twist stem terminating with a heavily fluted scroll terminal handle, measuring 14 cm in length and with a bowl diameter and depth of 4.5 cm and 1.3 cm respectively the sifter spoon is impressed to the underside of the bowl with the Lion passant mark and the London assay office date letter indicating circa 1895.
