Antique Last Year of Queen Victoria Sterling Silver Table Mustard Pot intact with original Bristol Blue Cobalt Glass Liner in Excellent Condition, of an unusual Skewed Square shape the Mustard Pot boasts quad set stylised Lion paw Terminal Cabriole Legs and is finished with a hinged flip lid with turned acorn type finial, in Excellent condition throughout, the Mustard Pot appearing to have seen little use in its life it will make for a fine addition to any table setting still being perfectly useable and not only for Mustard but Chutney and other sauces and/or condiments.
The Mustard pot measures 10.8 cm x 6 cm x 6.5 cm in dimension or 4.25 x 2.3 x 2.5 inches and is impressed to both body and inside lid with markings indicating London assay office circa 1901 with the makers mark for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths of Regent Street, London, also present is the Rd mark to the underside indicating the registered design for this particular pattern of table wares, the Mustard Pot is presented with a contemporary period Spoon in Sterling Silver to complete which measures 8 cm in length or 3.1 inches, the spoon is marked for Birmingham assay office circa 1908 with the makers mark for Edward Souter Barnsley of Frederick Street, Birmingham.
