Antique Late Edwardian Period Superb Matched Pair of Sterling Silver Buckles for Shoe Strap Fitting, these being curved shape so as to sit comfortably upon the bridge of a foot.
Each Buckle is intact with centre pin hinged teeth so as to bite into a silk or fabric strap, the pin fitting allowing one to thread a shoe strap through the buckles for securing.
Comparatively small in size, each buckle measuring roughly 3.3 cm in diameter and each chase detailed to the face setting with a waved turned pattern.
Very good condition throughout each buckle is impressed to the reverse with verbatim markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1910 with the makers mark for Rolason Brothers of Vyse Street, Birmingham, England.
In Original undamaged condition these buckles will shine with a gentle clean and polish.
