Antique Art Nouveau Circa 1910 Lovely Quality Pair of Lorgnettes in 9ct yellow Gold intact with original Duo of Lenses for Viewing, being a pair of Browsing or reading Lorgnettes this particular set would have been worn on a Guard chain or similar about the neck for easy and quick access, featuring Strong Nouveau designs including a Cannetille worked, pierced and fretted floral detailed paddle shaped handle the frame to the lorgnettes has a traditional sprung, push button which when activated opens the lorgnettes into a duo of lenses for use.

Each Lens to the lorgnettes measures 1.8 cm in diameter with the handle measuring 3.7 cm in length, the lorgnettes lens frame when erected for use measures 8 cm in width and is nicely finished with a scrolled and floral detailed gallery as with the handle.
The Frame to the Lorgnettes is impressed with markings indicating London assay office Import 9ct Gold (375) with the makers or importers mark 'P.E'.
A Lovely pair of Period Lorgnettes in undamaged condition and ready to be used.
