Recently a follower on Twitter or X thought it funny what we interested in, including "geo politics " she thought an interesting mix. Actually we no nothing about geo politics, just understand the bullies and armies picking on ordinary people on any side is wrong.
However antiques and the past and history should be very much part of our lives, look in last week Armistice day etc. Mixing a treasured item from the past from Granny or a favourite Auntie adds and enhances ones world, and adds a permanence and quality and individuality to an otherwise grey world of multi national corporations telling us how and what to live eat and sleep.
Antiques and bric a brac make this individualist statement and enhance our lives, even sometimes a broken or chipped vase can add or aid a memory or emotion.
Home is where the heart is, and where we relax and actually be ourselves and our interior decoration aids this.
