The good, the bad and the ugly
Well the best room is gone @topbananaantiques (actually we don't have any ugly rooms). Is an attic bad? or a basement well both these rooms actually often sell more than the ground floor.
Our attic room with English Country Antiques normally out sells any of our other rooms, mainly as he works in the shop, adds fresh items, both to his room and www.topbananaantiques every single day.
We have had a series of serious illness and retirements, but we have replaced many of these dealers with keen, hardworking young dealers, who don't bemoan past trading but embrace our current situation with relish and gusto, and one of our under 25 year old is regularly number 2 seller in the shop, because he is not held back by past preconceptions. With every sale and fresh stock brought adding genuine excitement to his day.
