Royal Commemorative china
A smashing subject to collect, items can easily go back to the Georges and I don't mean the 5th and 6th, often Queen Caroline, George II's wife certainly had commemorative plates etc made as I have owned some.
Early pieces can command high prices and when in good order make very good investments, like all things collectable, need to be quality in good order and rarer models, a pottery mug you might have a cup of builders tea in, will not make as much as a quality producer, such as Spode or Wedgewood.
Items seems to be primarily mugs, cups and saucers and plates. Collecting the fine bone china or porcelain will give a better return than pottery unless earlier pieces which tend to be more transfer ware pottery.
