Man-made rarely as good as natural

Who recalls nylon shirts, polyester jumpers, and vinyl sofas, at least not with any fondness.

The 1950s produced little in way of stylish antiques mostly copying the 1930s and making things out of cheap material as time of austerity.

Very much like the 1970s when we were all embracing a new world of mum's working, instant everything and less creases and easier lives. Instant foods and TV dinners. Takeaways become a regular thing other than fish and chips etc etc.

Cubic Zircona whilst actually a natural stone and in its natural form blue, started to be lab created in the 1970s and introduced to a willing market wanting the look of diamonds without the cost.

Moissanite discovered in 1893 by the site of a meteorite landing in California, was later thermally grown in labs to create a diamond looking stone that would pass basic thermal diamond tester. Giving a flawless diamond looking stone.

However unless your Rockefeller going for huge diamonds of rare colour and clarity, actually these days diamonds are very affordable and wonder how many of you would proudly produce your Pandora lab created diamonds in a few years time.

Unlike other stones a diamond will add quality to a ring even if tiny, and really can be brought for as little as £100 in gold. We think natural is best of course we cant all afford cashmere but most of us can have wool or cotton. So much better for us and the environment.
