Malapropisms and more "pacifically" typos the scourge of website such as "cock Crystal"
Malaprop's the dubious invention of Mrs Malaprop and character invented in turn by the playwright Richard Sheridan. Mal a props yet another french expression meaning ill suited.
Often malapropisms such as "Pacific" for "Specific",  "Flamingo dancer" for "Flamenco dancer" are amusing and can be often used by bright self educated soles particularly when either trying to sound bright or earnest often from the Eastern side of the country.

We all do it, yesterday "Prunis" which sounds like a banana like object as opposed to "Prunus" a plum like object revered for luck by the Chinese. Of course the legendary "Cock Crystal" both a malapropism and and typo spelling mistake for "Rock Crystal"

Whilst this may all seem like middle class nonsense to many, whilst all these things are amusing not so good for SEO on ones website.
So happy to have any errors pointed out as we are aiming whilst making antiques fun to get it right.
