Iain MacCormack Iona Scottish jewellery
A wonderful area to collect Scottish jewellery, particularly that from the Scottish island such as Iona, Shetland and Orkney.
The nice thing about this MacCormick item is that it is genuinely from the 1960s, the zenith of this Celtic and modernist designs of which nearly all the Scottish jewellery tend to follow.
He followed on from the father of them all Alexander Ritchie who died in 1941, but in essence these were all early Celtic designs. Similarly the Scandinavians also followed the same themes, such as David Andersen and Ivar T. Holth to name but two.
