Grannie had it, mother threw it out, I brought it back -tee hee hee
Funny but true they say that antiques/vintage skip a generation, i.e. you despise what you're parents have, but love what you grandparents had.
This really goes for everything vintage really including jewellery, if you think about the younger buyer are really into the 1950s and 1970s and now even 1980s items coming into the fray. All these items have their own merit and style, even down to a Lurpak butter toast rack with Douglas from the creator of Wallace & Gromit, Nick Park of Aardman Animations.
Its great and we love being able to present a range of items, guaranteed as we speak from roman to probably the millennium, we love period antiques, but appreciate the value and need to supply our new growing band of younger clients and keeping antiques buying as fun and vibrant.
