Go to bed not chamber stick
Chamber stick from the French chamber for bedroom, these miniature candle stick or go to bed were literally after one had turned out the man candelabra or oil lamps, a means to get to one bed chamber.
Like so many things particularly in Victorian time pre mains gas or electricity was a way of showing one wealth with this one pictured being silver and often later on were novelty items such as bears or squirrels holding a match to nip quickly to bed.
One of the things to check is so often snuffers were lost, so make sure hallmarks match on both items.
