Now the season of enjoying your garden is well and truly here the enthusiastic Gardener is always doing little jobs as they are pottering around. Vintage tools of the trade for doing those enjoyable tasks are much more attractive that their modern counterparts.
We have quite a collection of hand made pieces here that Miss Marple might iwell have used in her garden in the 1950's, all the time observing what the villagers were up to in St. Mary Mead!
The cuttings/flower basket would be a useful item, and in the winter could even come indoors and be filled with dried frlowers and lavender to create a sweet smelling display to remind you of those long summer days.
For those who love all things country the Cotswold Show is on just down the road from us at Cirencester, this is taking place over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of July. There one can experience all the sights, sounds, tastes and crafts of living in the Cotswolds.
