Our Antiques mall Welcomed earlier this week the arrival of an elaborate, colourful and detailed pair of Guardian Lions, symbols of prosperity and Success.You will spot these two beauties straightaway as you walk in the door as They will silently keep watch over our premises in the run up to the festive season!
These two female and male guardian lions are pieces of art and craftsmanship as they're made using the ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects called cloisonne. Together they're said to represent the binary, they're a study in contrast and complement, strength moderated by gentleness and wisdom. They're 1.3 meter high or 51 Inches !!!
The Mythical creatures represent in Buddhism peace and are believed to impart calmness, conversely they also represent energy and happiness.
All of these things we, at Top Banana, want to wish you all for the festive season 2019 starting today with Thanksgiving: Prosperity, Success, Strength, Gentleness, Wisdom, Peace Calmness and Happiness.
