Cake and loose it.
Today by way of a thank-you to the former director of Top Banana Antiques , went to buy a cake from local cake shop, whow i thought they look good ill buy two, they were £5.95p each, hmm naughty but nice, sorry the lady said in a French accent we dont take cash.
So I couldnt buy them one is was a personal present and two i had no card on me and three I didnt want director to know how extravagant I had been .
So a small shop lost nearly £12 in sales, and of course the card would of cost them a bit 3 % or 4% if i had used credit card.
Bonkers we take most things at Top Banana Antiques even dollars and euros if bank charges are covered, because we value all trade and often cash puchases are large purchases too.
We take most credit and debit cards, bank tranfers and cash too.
