By that, I mean—if you see something you genuinely like, something you’d happily live with in your own space, there’s a good chance others will like it too. Whether it’s a piece of furniture, a print for the wall, or even a smaller detail like a lamp or throw, trust that your instinct is probably shared.
Aspirational pieces work in the same way. Even if it’s something you can’t quite stretch to today, the fact you want it says something. If you would aspire to own it, then others will also aspire—and that desire has value. In a world where taste can be copied but never faked, your personal choice creates resonance.
