Antiques shops are like exciting rare mushrooms
Not meaning they are all musty and dusty, mind you some do smell of manure. Pretty confident Top Banana Antiques actually always smell pretty good, think crisp linen at present soon to be cinnamon Christmas smells.
I digress, so just like autumn fungi that pop up unexpectedly overnight, antiques shops often do.
Of course a good antiques business is aided and supported by a regular customer base and in particular the trade. Often what may seem like a sleepy tucked away sort of a position will have a very well beaten path made by regular traders.
Like mushrooms , when a shop pops up best get in quick and support it as otherwise fear will come and go.
Perhaps the fact we have been in Tetbury for 22 years speaks for itself.
