Antiques may show signs of wear or as we like to think here at Top Banana Antiques 'love', but this is because they have reliably been used for 100 plus years. But you have the added peace of mind if they had not been reliable they would have long ago been thrown on the scrap heap.
Modern day alternatives................most items break in a couple of years & have to be replaced, that is if they did the job they were designed for in the first place.
