Antique Stock Pins or Stick Pins
These were used for keeping scarves and cloaks attached to clothing or for holding flower posies or single stems, with regard to stock pins especially when horse riding or hunting.Stick pins are normally made to represent a sport or a theme, and of course just made to be beautiful, often using very precious and valuable stones, such a diamonds rubies and sapphires all of which we have examples of and often heads of animals or faces which have diamond eyes too.
