WW2 Free French 1st Battalion Marine Commando Keifer Beret Badge Vintage c1940. The 1er Bataillon de Fusiliers Marins Commandos was a Free French Commando unit that served during WWII. Initially its Commandant was Lieutenant de Vaisseau Phillippe Keifer under whose command they participated in the Normandy landings. A superb and very unusual collectable piece of militaria. The badge is in a good clean condition being free of any visible faults or defects.
