A Fine Example of an Antique, Turn of the last century circa 1900 Town Criers Hand Bell in Bronze fitted with carved oak handle, a Mighty piece, large in size and very heavy.

In Well Preserved condition the bell chamber shows signs of its hand finish and is intact to the interior with original forged iron knocker, the mounted Oak handle is collared and finished with a turned Bronze pommel finial.

When lad to rest the Bell stands 35 cm tall or 13.8 inches with a bell chamber diameter at the rim of 20 cm or 8 inches, in full working order this rare example of a criers bell makes a terrific sound when rang, ear splitting in volume even with the lightest movement, makes for a fantastic Museum quality collectible piece, still very much useable.
