Antique Edwardian period Lovely Quality Fob Match Safe Vesta Case in Sterling Silver, this example engraved to the body on both sides with a closed gallery of Ivy leaves, the face side to the vesta featuring a central set Cartouche vacant of Engraving, in good condition, the vesta retaining hinged, spring plate fitted lid and static lug to the spine so as to serve for when being worn as a fob item, be it with an Albert Watch Chain, Guard Chain or similar item easures4 cm x 3 c mx 7 mm in dimension when closed shut, there is a tiny ding to the lid of the vesta case to one side, barely noticeable, otherwise it is sound throughout and retains good clear impressed markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1903 with the makers mark for Joseph Gloster of Hockley Hill, Birmingham.
