Antique circa 1920 Handsome example of a large sized Bar Brooch in a Floral design, the centre to the brooch featuring a pierced and fretted gallery of flower petals enclosing a central set cabochon of Matrix Turquoise posing as the iris.
In Good condition for age, hinged pin and clasp to the revers are intact and there are no damages to either silver construction or Turquoise hardstone.
The Brooch measures 7.7 cm in width and has a setting diameter of 2.3 cm, the reverse to the brooch is impressed with the 'Sterling Silver' mark.
The brooch will benefit from a clean and polish as tarnishing is present from age but it is otherwise ready to be worn.
A handsome example of the early 20th century and one that will make for a lovely addition to any working jewellery casket.
