Antique Early 19th Century Scottish Provincial Sterling Silver Old English Pattern Table Spoon out of the Aberdeen Assay office, a rare piece and in very Good Condition for age, there being no splits, dings or repairs and only mild signs of physical wear from handling throughout the years, The spoon is engraved to the handle terminal with the letter 'L' in a scrolled font, the reverse to the spoon is impressed with good clear Low Marks indicating Aberdeen Assay office with the makers mark for George Boots whom was a silver worker from circa 1800 through to circa 1825, dating this spoon to circa 1810.

The spoon measures 21.3 cm cm in length or 8.4 inches and weighs 61.1 grams or approximately 2 ounces troy.
