Antique Late Victorian Period Very Ornate fretted and pierced, three footed dish, originally a Turkish Delight or Bon-Bon dish but would serve well as a trinket dish or similar at a working dressing table, beautifully detailed in Repousse with scrolled foliate work and double Lovers Knots to both top and bottom of the dish along with clear impressed markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1888 with the makers mark for Matthew John Jessop of Hatton Garden, London.
The dish is in undamaged condition, has a pleasing aged patination but could be cleaned to a high shine if desired.
The Dish measures 9.3 cm x 8 cm x 2.3 cm in dimension.
