Antique Late 19th Century Dutch Solid Silver te Strainer of a very ornate design featuring a heavily pierced and fretted bowl featuring the figure of a Tulip girl holding a basket in one and flower in the other, the rim to the bowl is foliate chased leading to the stem and handle with Baroque terminal again in a foliate pattern.
In Excellent condition throughout, there being no damages, repairs or otherwise the strainer is in original condition more or less and retains aged patination.
The Bowl is marked for London assay office Import circa 1893 with the mark for Berthold Muller, the reverse to the bowl features the sponsor mark and the Dutch silver mark indicating 833 grade silver standard.
The strainer measures 16.5 cm in length with a bowl diameter of 6.8 cm.
