Antique Edwardian Period, Rare example of a Pictorial Souvenir Spoon in Sterling Silver, this particular piece commemorating the birthplace of William Shakespeare of Stratford On Avon, the terminal to the spoon features the coat of Arms for Stratford On Avon with the bowl to the spoon featuring a view of the very house where Shakespeare was born.
In well preserved condition the spoon measures 12.3 cm in length and is impressed with good clear markings to the reverse of the stem indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1907 with the makers mark for Robert Chandler.
