Antique Late Victorian Period Circa 1900 Lovely Quality Cast Bronze Letter Opener suitable for a desk or bureau setting featured as a Roman Gladius ornately decorated to the shank with an Art Nouveau floral design and a Fletched arrow with Caduceus to both sides, the handle to the gladius terminates with a pommel in the form of a Snarling three dimensional Bear Head.
The Letter Opener is in well preserved condition and without damage, has a lovely aged patina and measures 23 cm in length.
