Antique Early 20th Century circa 1920's Egyptian Hand made Copper, convex Roundel Style Box in Copper finished to the lid and side wall with a tooled pattern and applied Silver in the form of a pictorial image of the Pyramids of Giza, a duo of Birds from the Nile and the Sphinx, with the sun in the heaven above, the underside to the box being decorated with a perpetual lotus arch pattern again in silver, the lid to the box when removed reveals a silver washed interior to finish.
A Handsome Artisan piece, likely manufactured as grand Tour Collectible Souvenir in Cairo during the period for the Tourist trade.
The Box when closed shut measures 14.5 cm in diameter and stands 5.5 cm tall.
