Antique Early 20th Century Lovely Quality carved oak locking box in the Tudor Gothic Style boasting an ornate relief card lid and English Rose and floral panels to the side walls, the centre to the lid of the box is legend etched with the word "Cards", possibly playing cards or indeed Church sermon cards (or similar), in overall good condition, no rot or worm, minor wear to corners and the hinges to the box lid are somewhat loose so will need attention, also there is no key for the lever lock fitting, measuring 23.5 cm x 15 cm x 9.4 cm in dimension it will serve for a variety of uses and could be reworked in a number of ways if desired or used 'as is'.
