Very much of their time this is a great pair of salts dating from the Regency period made from brass, ebonized wood and nut shells. The nut shell forms the salt basin which in turn is carried by bronze monkeys, one male the other female, standing on ebonized wood. All in good order please see the pictures.
Size of each 6.0 x 6.7 x 8.0 cm or 2.4 x 2.6 x 3.1 penny weight.
