Antique 19th Century Hand Made Silver Cuff Style Bangle in very good condition, an imposing piece of wrist armour having a shank width of 6 cm the bangle is beautifully detailed to the outer shank with a series of three closed galleries of pressed filigree nautilus shells in a perpetual pattern, each gallery is separated by a double fox tail pattern gallery and proud vacant spine with the mouth of the cuff bangle being finished with a raised wall and quad set beading details.
The bangle has a pleasing aged patina to the silver, is in undamaged condition and measures 7 cm x 6.4 cm with the earlier noted shank width of 6 cm.
The Bangle is Likely of Continental origin and date to the circa 1880's, although unmarked it is tested positive for silver.
Interestingly, the inner shank to the bangle retains old jeweller stock paper labels, can be removed with a clean.
