Vintage Mid Century Hand Carved Chinese Soapstone Tea Pot in a squat Urn Pattern relief detailed to the body with a perpetual keyed motif, the handle and spout to the pot being in the form of a Serpent, the mainstay being its body which is finished to the top with an urn type one piece carved removable lid flanked with two stylised serpent heads meeting at the centre.
In Very good condition the tea Pot stands 11.5 cm tall with a width from handle to spout of 17.5 cm and a breadth to the body of 7 cm or 4.5 x 6.8 x 2.7 inches.
There are no chips, damages or repairs to the tea pot, it appearing to have seen little use in its life, the interior being in good clean condition.
Makes for an interesting decorative collectible piece as well as being perfectly useable.
