Antique Early Victorian period book titled "Gauge Evidence The History and Prospects of the Railway System" illustrated by the Gauge Commission by Samuel Sidney, Author of "Bristol A Free Port".
Manufactured in Cloth on Board with gold foil impressed legend to the front the book is solid throughout but does show some wear to the exterior including mild butting to the corners, spot foxing is present to the pages within as well as mild sepia commensurate with age, nothing serious, no rips or tears and all pages are intact of which there are 400 excluding front and end blanks.
