Vintage Art Deco Period Top Quality, Rare Pattern Mappin & Webb manufactured Dish in Silver Plate On Copper, Boasting Strong Deco overtones the dish features as a stylised Polyhedron shape finished with a proud lip and tricorne set oval feet to the underside.
The Dish as can be seen from the photographs is in well preserved condition and without damage, showing only mild age related use.
Measuring 13.7 cm (5.3 inches) x 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) and weighing in at 155 grams (5.4 ounces) it makes for a fabulous decorators piece for the home as well as being very much useable, would serve well as a sweet meats dish, a card tray, Candle dish or indeed as a Trinket Dish.
The Underside to the dish is clearly marked for Mappin & Webb / Mappin Plate London & Sheffield.
