Beautiful Conway Stewart 550 Dinkie fountain pen in black lined Pearl burgundy marble with gold filled trim. Fitted with the original 14ct gold medium tipped nib, marked to the nib. We believe to be in working order but have not checked, the top and clip also need re-attaching, please see the pictures. Being sold in it's original 'The Dinkie Pen' box which is in good order again please see the pictures. This wonderful pen dates circa 1949.
Conway Stewart launched The Dinkie in 1922. Advertised as “The smallest Practical fountain Pen ever made”. They would become one of Conway Stewart’s most popular long-lasting brands and was produced for the next 50 years.
