Antique Late Victorian period Lovely Quality Matched Pair of Bon-Bon Dishes in Sterling Silver, Featuring beautiful Repousse work including closed galleries of Floral Details the dishes are finished with a series of Gothic Budded Croix pierced side walls accenting the floral galleries with the floor to each dish being roundel flower and petal detailed as a stylised lotus flower.
Each Dish measures 8.6 cm in diameter with a depth of 2 cm or 3.4 inches and 0.8 inches and is verbatim impressed with good clear markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1897 with the makers mark for William Devenport of Spencer Street, Birmingham, England.
There are no damages or repairs to either dish, they being in original condition more or less save for a pleasing aged patination to the silver which could be cleaned to a high shine if desired.
