Vintage Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks / Candleholders in the traditional 'Desk' style, these being suitable for Desks, mantles, shelves or even a table setting.
Manufactured in Sterling Silver with cement filled bases for stability the Candlesticks are in generally good condition for age but show mild wear from handling throughout the years including a couple of small dings, nothing serious.
Each Candlestick stands 7.4 cm tall and has a tapered sconce to the top with a maximum diameter (to accommodate candle) of 2.3 cm, the foot to each candlestick is verbatim impressed with markings indicating Birmingham assay office circa 1960 with the makers mark for Adie Brothers Of Frederick Street, Birmingham, England.
The Candlesticks will benefit from a gentle clean and polish to shine again as there is age related tarnishing to the silver but are otherwise ready to be used.
