Antique High Victorian Period circa 1870's Lovely Quality Double Glazed Picture or keepsake Locket in unmarked 9ct Rose Gold set with white paste stones as a claw Clasp Pave gallery to the locket edge, in good Antique Condition the locket features a display window to either side complete with crystal in place removable via way of bezel so as to install desired item be it photograph, lock of hair or other keepsake of a sweetheart or memory.
The Locket is oval in shape measuring 3.3 cm x 2.8 cm x 4 mm in dimension and intact with secured jump ring to the lug terminal so as to serve for when threading with a chain for wearing about the neck.
All paste stones are intact and there are no dead or dying pastes, there are no dings or damages to the locket construction and no cracks or chips to either of the glazed windows making it a good example of the period and ready to be worn and used.
As noted the locket is in unmarked gold but has been tested to at least 9ct.
