Antique Late Victorian period Top Quality bar Brooch In 15ct yellow Gold set with pearls and a singular Rose Cut Diamond.
A Traditional styled piece finished with a central set scroll flanked rope patterned halo featuring the diamond within a bright cut raised dais flower head setting, the edges of the brooch being beaded terminating with single strap galleries of seed pearls and roundel studding.
In very good condition throughout, just needs a gentle clean to shine again.
The brooch measures 4.7 cm x 1.3 cm and is intact to the reverse with hinged pin and clasp in good order, markings are present to the brooch indicating Chester Assay office 15ct Gold (625) circa 1895 with the makers mark 'M.W Ld'.
