This very highly decorative porcelain jug dates to the second half of the 19th Century. With a white cream ground, gilt details and detailed painted two cartouches one on each side, it has a stunning gilded handle and no damages. There is a beautiful inscription below spout to Alfred Beaumont Esq, Parkton Grove, Honley, Yorkshire dated 1870. It is a good size for practical use.
