Antique Mid Victorian Period Top Quality Pair of Sterling Silver Sugar Tongs in the Apostle pattern with barely twist shanks and a threaded shield apex with mounted chevron detailed bowl terminals, in Excellent condition throughout the tings retain a firm but smooth movement and are impressed to the inner shank with markings indicating London assay office circa 1869 with the makers mark for Henry Holland, also present is the Duty mark for Queen Victoria.
The Tongs measure 12.5 cm in length.
