Antique Late 19th Century Top Quality Pocket 'fob' style pocket barometer by the noted scientific instrument manufacturers Negretti & Zambra in superb condition presented in original Leather clad and fitted hard case with silver cartouche to lid.
Manufactured with an enamel dial under original crystal the barometer is Ormolu cased and features as a 'Compensated' affair, this being model number 18051.
The Barometer including stem and suspension bale measures 7.3 cm x 5 cm x 1.7 cm in dimension, Dial is signed for Negretti & Zambra of London along with the model number, the barometer is in working order and as can be seen from the photographs the original fitted case is also in well preserved condition making this to be a fantastic addition to any collection.
