Antique mid 19th Century Superb and Very Rare Italian Grand Tour Artisan Crafted Solid Bronze and silver Mounted Roman Goddess Head Wine or Claret Ewer Jug in excellent condition with the bronze boasting a gorgeous aged patina, highly detailed and very much after an original 3rd century Roman ruin marble statuette this fine antique piece will grace any collection and also as a valuable addition to an antiquarian curio cabinet but also still being a very much usable piece, the head band to the bronze is in solid silver as is the beaded necklace, there are no dings, splits, damage or repairs to the bronze as with the silver mounts, the ewer stands 20 cm tall and has a width and depth of 9.5 cm and 10.5 cm respectively.
